Where Artistry Meets Flavour

My Story

It all began as a hobby and a love for baking birthday cakes for friends and family.

I wanted my children to have the birthday cakes that they wanted!

Progressing to cakes for friends and children of friends.

Teaching myself along the way and each year I was able to make those birthdays that little bit more special.

In 2016 I felt that I had gained the necessary skills required to turn my hobby into my job and start my own business so that I was able to bring the same level of  joy to others as I had brought to my children through my cake creations.

After a few years of making extravagant occasion cakes, I finally found my new passion. My niche.

Piping buttercream flowers became my new obsession. My new therapeutic passion.

In 2019 I rebranded my business and Petals Bakehouse was born. 

Specialising in realistic, edible buttercream floral cupcakes and wedding cakes.

My hobby has become my obsession and there is no better feeling than seeing the joy & happiness that my work brings to others.
